It is with some sadness that we announce the East of England Tourism Awards will not be taking place this year in the format we have been associated with for the past 20 years.

In this time we have celebrated outstanding contributions from our vibrant tourism sector, and it has been an honour to recognise the incredible work from those that keep our tourism sector thriving across Cambridge, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

We have worked with a number of wonderful sponsors and supporters putting a spotlight on the remarkable businesses and individuals that make the East of England so special.

In the last 10 years alone we have proudly recognised more than 250 businesses as finalists and winners, using our platforms to raise awareness and celebrate the exceptional experiences and services offered in the East of England.

Since partnering with VisitEngland, for the last three years, we have seen many finalists and winners gain national recognition, further enhancing the visibility, and bringing additional footfall to the region. This has been a testament to the outstanding quality and appeal of our tourism sector.

Despite best efforts, we have unfortunately been unable to secure the support necessary this year. This decision was not made lightly.

Throughout the years, we have invested, heavily, in coverage and promotion, dedicating significant resource to elevate and support local tourism. Notwithstanding, we remain committed to advocating for the sector through our news titles and extensive databases.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
